It can grow as tall as 6 feet high. It produces a large yellow flower heads at the end of the season which in turn, produce a lot of seeds. This herb reseeds around my garden easily. The leaves have a wonderful tangy classic dill flavor which can be used in so many recipes such as a flavoring for marinades, pickling brine, and dips. My favorite recipe with dill is Greek tzatziki sauce. It also attracts beneficial insects, pollinators, and butterflies. Dill is a host plant for Swallowtail butterfly caterpillars.
